The prices below are the ones the estimators on this page produce — installed, including GST, no ranges and no "from" figures hiding a catch.
A single-phase home charger supplied and installed is $1,653 including GST, based on a 10 metre run from the switchboard. Installing a charger you have already bought starts at $893. Three-phase is $2,032, and a solar-diverting charger is $2,163. Every price on this page is the real installed figure including GST — use the estimator above to get yours in four questions, with no form and no waiting.
A dedicated circuit and RCBO in the switchboard, cable and surface conduit along the run clipped and made good, the charger mounted and terminated with its current limit set, commissioning, electrical testing, a certificate of compliance and cleanup. A straightforward single-phase install is about 4.5 hours on site.
No. Most Sydney homes are single phase and a 7.4kW single-phase charger adds roughly 35 to 50 kilometres of range an hour — far more than an overnight charge needs for normal driving. Three phase allows up to 22kW, but only if your car can accept it: many cannot. If you are not sure what supply you have, we check the switchboard before anything is ordered.
Only if the charger genuinely diverts excess solar, and not all of them do despite what the marketing says. We only offer solar-capable chargers to customers with solar — the estimator on this page will not show you one that cannot do it. A solar-diverting single-phase install is $2,163 including GST.
Not usually. What matters is whether there is a spare position for the new circuit protection. If there is not, creating space adds $150 to $400, and we confirm that with you before we proceed rather than after. If the board needs more than that we tell you before any work starts.
Ten downlights swapped from 50W halogen to LED is $842 including GST, fully installed — about $84 a light. Twenty is $1,573. The calculator on this page prices your exact number as you move the slider. Old 50W halogens cost roughly ten times as much to run as the LEDs replacing them.
It is the cheapest it will ever be on the day, because the board is already open and it is one visit rather than a call-out of its own. $397 including GST on single phase, $638 on three phase. It protects everything on the switchboard while it is there, not just the charger — and the onboard charger in the car is the expensive part.

Yes. Electrical3 Pty Limited holds NSW electrical contractor licence 270174C and carries full insurance. Every job is covered by a 25-year workmanship warranty, and a certificate of compliance is issued on completion.
No. The estimator and the downlight calculator on this page give you a real price immediately with nothing to fill in. For anything they do not cover, send an enquiry or ring 0417 297 285 and the price is agreed before we start — no hourly meter running while you watch.
